The challenge
Promoting the vast amount of adventures in West Sweden via a digital experience, a digital gateway to the wonders of the Västra Götaland region. Creating such an experience while staying true to their brand and displaying all West Sweden has to offer was the main focus.
Digital Art Direction
Displaying the region's diverse landscapes and cultural richness. Large, high-resolution images draw users in, immediately conveying the beauty and uniqueness of West Sweden. The hero section is a dynamic canvas, capable of featuring stunning video backgrounds that transport visitors into the heart of the experiences awaiting them.
The end result is engaging visitors with an immersive journey, making use of a carefully curated blend of large images, captivating videos, carefully curated rich articles and compelling copy.
Enhancing user engagement
Strategic placement of interactive elements within the hero section enhances user engagement. Intuitive calls-to-action invite exploration, guiding visitors to delve deeper into specific experiences. "Explore More" guides the user to an in-depth article about the experience. Upon clicking "View All," users are seamlessly transported to an interactive carousel, a digital compass that invites them to scroll through a captivating array of all featured experiences. These design choices provide a seamless transition from inspiration to action.
